I have a light to the left and slightly beside it, really bright too...
The light was starring back at me while I was playing with this image....Still I get a bad shadow...
Hmmm I used the flash on my camera, maybe I shouldnt and try to raise my ISO and slow the shutter speed...

Today I forgot to change my settings from tungston light to sunlight and I took a couple of pictures while visiting the train at the park... Oooops... I think it turned out neat but kind of weird.. So what do you think?
We also went to the artistphere festival today..I enjoyed all the art there very much as well as had fun with my family... Now I have to edit all the photos I took today. It seems like I took as many pictures as I took last week when I went to the wedding.. :) I am so amazed though at how much I have learned so far. More pictures turn out better then when I started out with this camera for that matter even better then with my first camera... Maybe soon I wont have to delete pictures because they turned out bad and I will have more…

I have been playing with the light and whitebalance still....Trying to achieve a good white without blowing highlights in it. I used a white cardstock paper for the background and let the countertop show so I could compare something. Off white countertop to the paper.. I think I almost got it.. :) I have been busy updating things on my website. Probably be working on it the next couple of days.. Its almost like a chore but its still fun... Thank you for all the wonderfull comments everyone left yesterday. I appreciate them. I am listening too:)

Beware possible
This is not the one I entered!
I have to share my out takes because I dont know if I should of entered this one or if I have done right by entering the other one...I probably shouldnt have entered at all. This is not the one I entered!
Its not that I want anyone to change their minds in the voting or to go look for something close to or similar to this one and vote unfairly, I just want to know why is it my vote is low. One comment I have received so far is " this is someone elses art, but nice try though" Sure it is a lamp that my aunt painted but I thought sculptures like a wine glass and what not can be used in creating a image. Specially if had not been copied as a replica..

I took this one on chritmas eve. I set up presents wrapped and my 2 lamps I have for light. I need to create a unbrella affect or white sheet paper or something to fuse the light. The crop on this is tight because his brother was behind him and not cooperating giving me terrible looks. I just love this smile specially waking up in the morning to it!
Anyways I am working on things to improve my pictures. I love to make pretty pictures and always have wanted to do better then going to a studio. As part of my goals I will have my own studio. Atleast one that I can be happy with for taking great family pictures.
